Benchmark K-35: High-Performance Self-Leveling Underlayment

Benchmark K-35 is an advanced Portland-cement-based, self-leveling underlayment engineered to correct uneven, out-of-level, or damaged floors in residential, commercial, institutional, and renovation environments. Designed for speed and reliability, K-35 cures to a smooth, hard, and durable surface—allowing installation of most floor coverings in as little as 24 hours.

K-35 delivers outstanding dimensional stability, excellent flow characteristics, and superior bond strength. It is suitable for use over clean, sound, and properly prepared substrates including concrete, wood, and other stable surfaces meeting a minimum 200 psi bond strength and stiffness ratings greater than L/360.

Optimized for interior, climate-controlled environments, Benchmark K-35 can be installed neat from 1” to 2” in a single lift, and can be extended to 1/8” up to 2” depending on project needs. Its rapid-setting, self-drying formulation provides exceptional performance while reducing downtime and labor costs.

Benchmark K-35 is compatible with most flooring adhesives without the need for additional primers or surface preparation, making it an efficient solution for fast-track construction schedules.

Uses

For professional use by Benchmark Cements-trained Contractors. Designed as a concentrate for batch mixing on site with sand with mobile volumetric mix concrete technologies.

Surface Preparation

Concrete Substrates: Must be sound, clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Tensile pull strength >175 psi required.

Wood Substrates: Must be sound, clean, and surface dry with deflection better than L/360.

Priming: All concrete substrates must be primed. Seal voids and penetrations to prevent leakage.
